The varieties of lines, shapes, and textures that architectural elements involve I have always found intriguing. Evolution in building styles sometimes seems to follow many of the same designer trends that we see in high fashion. Frequently I notice architects reverting to the styles of the past and always enjoy an opportunity to record the styles that have proven themselves over time. Occasionally some one will commission me to do a portrait of their home, the family home, or the home of a loved one.
